POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Manager directs, plans, and manages the network, hardware, and helpdesk personnel. Position is a senior level position that is tasked with responsibility for projects as required by CIO.
KEY RESULTS:
1. Manage IT staff productivity and solicit feedback from other areas to ensure that internal customer needs are being met. Develop methods to continuously improve services provided.
2. Effectively communicates and cooperates with outside vendors to assess, purchase and supply Pacific’s hardware and telecommunication needs in a timely manner and within budget.
3. Provide all employees with top quality, consistent computer service, support training and maintenance of all computer systems used throughout the organization.
4. Monitors and manages the performance of local and wide area network to provide satisfactory service to end users.
5. Collaborates with Security Administrator to ensure that network is secure from internal and external network security threats. Also monitors and makes recommendations for improvement of company security policies.
6. Daily demonstrates commitment to be present and work all hours assigned as needed.
7. Willingly performs and completes any work assigned in an efficient, safe and productive manner.
8. Cooperates with employees, branch personnel, customers, suppliers and others with honesty, integrity, and respectful manner.
9. Willingly complies with all regulatory requirements, including federal, state, local, company and customer statutes or rules.
10. Effectively communicates with management and co-workers.
11. Manages time efficiently accepts responsibility for own decisions and actions.
12. Performs other duties as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Good vision with the ability to read computer screens, documentation, instructions, etc.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to walk, climb, crawl, kneel, bend, squat, and reach overhead.
3. Manual dexterity to work with small tools and instruments.
4. Ability to hear and verbally communicate with vendors and employees.
5. Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.
Advanced, hands-on, working experience providing support for Desktop PC’s and software applications.
Experience implementing Microsoft 365 and Intune Desktop Deployments.
Advanced, hands-on, knowledge of network protocols and routing. Experience with Cisco / Meraki a plus.
Working knowledge and Implementation of Security Frameworks such as CIS or NIST.
Good working knowledge of business applications. Experience supporting large ERP preferred.
Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
